3D Print Materials

Different materials for different reasons

People have different perceptions of 3D printed items, but when a first timer finally gets their hands on a good 3D printed item, most people are stunned.

With all the advances in 3D printing you would hardly know that you’re holding one of our 3D printed items compared to something in the store. Of course, many hobbyist do go the extra mile in post finishing to make sure their project looks top notch.

For most 3D printed objects that aren’t meant to be used in harsh conditions we recommend PLA which is a great, sturdy, all around material for most projects. PETG is recommended for most projects that need to be water resistant, strong, and can withstand harsh conditions.

Under specific requests we can obtain the filaments to provide metallic and silk colours, matte, transparent, etc. Also available are options for TPU, Carbon and wood filled filaments under such special requests.
